 Overview 

At the park close to Mandaradera (temple), 12 species , about 60 wisteria trees will be in full bloom and colors the park.
 
Natural Monument wisterias in around Japan are also planted.



 History 

The temple was built in early 14th century by the order of the Emperor Godaigo.

Wisteria flower is the symbol of Konan City.



 Highlight 

At the park, various kinds of wisteria can be seen; early and late flowerers, purple, crimson, white flowers, and long or short bunches.

There is Ongakuji (temple) that own 16 statues of Buddha carved by famous monk Enku in Konan city.

<Access>
①By train
 From "Konan Sta." of Meitetsu Inuyama Line, transfer to the bus for
 Konan Danchi and get off at "Mandaradera". 
 It takes 2min. by walk from the bus stop.

②By car
 From Tokai Hokuriku Highway "Ichinomiya Kisogawa Exit", 8km.
