 Overview 

This is only old style rifle events taken place in the prefecture.
There is parade of children to adults who wear traditional costume of the army and walk from Mitake Jinja to the ground of Hanayama junior high school followed by the parade of portable shrine and traditional music.

The event reminds us of the Age of Civil War.



 History 

According to the history, the events started in 1712.

Wife of the feudal load prayed to the god of Mitake Jinja for her weak child.
Then, the child became better.
The wife let the army to give salute of guns to the god. This fact became the origin of the event.



 Highlight 

Traditional ways of walking of the army and sound of gunfire of 12 old rifles shoot at once is exciting and overwhelming.
