 Overview 

Along the treesroadside trees (about 20km), 6,500 Oyamazakura (cherry) will be in full bloom.

From early to late April, Skunkcabbage and various kinds of alpine plants can be seen.

 History 

Since 1985, based on the catch phrase "The world longest cherry roadside trees at the foot of Mt. Iwaki !", the local people has been planting Oyamazakura (cherry) and making effort for 10 years.

 Highlight 

Contrast between cherry and Mt. Iwaki, grand nature view of Tsugaru is magnificent.

There is 9 km long paveway along the prefectural road 3 (between the bus stops of Komoriyama Iriguchi and Dake Onsenkyo (hot springs).
There are several viewing points on the route; Ourin Koen (cherry park), Skunkcabbage marsh, and Kurotaki Keiryu (stream) and so on.

Also, you can enjoy picnic at gazebos on the route while seeing fantastic view of cherry and Mt. Iwaki.

It sounds good idea to take bath after walking (this area is famous for hot springs).

Please take your time and enjoy magnificent nature view of Mt. Iwaki.

 From "Hirosaki Sta." of JR, transfer to the bus and get off at
 "Iwakisan Jinjamae".

②By car
 From Tohoku Highway "Owani Hirosaki Exit" 25km via Apple Road.
