 Overview 

This Shinto ritual has more than 1,200 years of history. It is one of 3 famous rice gruel festival in Japan.

Rice gruel in golden bowls are set to the direction of north, south, east, and west in the main hall of the shrine to predict productivity of agri products and weather of the year by seeing mold on the surface of the rice gruel.

 From JR "Saga Sta.", transfer to Nishitetsu Bus for Kurume via Kanzaki
 and get off at "Chikuri Hachimangu".
